[Profile]
Abraham Ortega was born in 1962 in Puno, Peru, and currently lives and works in Sevilla,Spain. From an early age, he developed a strong interest in the arts, especially woodworking, and became passionate about wood carving. He started playing the guitar atthe age of 17, when he was exposed to flamenco dancers on a performance tour of South America, which led to his fascination with the world of flamenco. In 1985, he traveled to Spain, where he met many flamenco dancers and learned to play under guitarist Miguel Perez; in 1987, he met guitar maker Alberto Pantoja, and two years later, he became an apprentice in the workshop of Andres Dominguez. As Dominguez's only apprentice and
successor, he continues to make his own quality instruments while learning and deepening his knowledge of production techniques and vintage guitar restoration techniques.Currently, his son, Neffi Angel Ortega Romero, has joined the workshop and is working under the guidance of his father, Abraham.

[Description]
Flamenco model 2019 made by Abraham Ortega is in stock. The back and sides are Indian rosewood negra with plenty of echoey resonance. It features a thicker overall sound and ample volume, an excellent quality for flamenco playing. There are some minor playing marks throughout, but they are commensurate with its age for a flamenco instrument that is five years old. Back and sides are relatively clean.
