[Profile]
Born in Seville, Spain in 1939. He started out working for his father as a carpenter, but at the age of 17, he decided to become a guitar maker and taught himself the craft. In Spain, he is a master craftsman who is highly regarded along with Manuel Reyes, but in Japan, his brand is known only to experts. What a shame for the people who feel his guitars are so wonderful. In fact, many great players own his guitars and praise them for their tone and ease of playing. In addition, the wonderful appearance and beauty of the design are always mentioned when talking about this brand. Today, with his two sons Juan and Jose, he continues to produce new works in his workshop in Seville.
His guitars are used by Pedro Peña, Nino De Pura, Quique Paredes, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Manolo Franco and many other flamenco guitarists.
[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a flamenco made by Francisco Barba in 1986. It has a high quality finish with moderate sustain, separation and power in each note from single notes to chords, and expressiveness of tone.
The instrument has been played a lot, so it shows considerable signs of use and has been repaired and adjusted in various parts. The sound board also has a history of repaired dents such as cracks and playing scratches. The entire instrument has been repainted with a lacquer matte finish. The tuning machines have been replaced with Gotoh 35G1600 type.
