[Profile]
Born in Seville, Spain in 1939. He started out working for his father as a carpenter, but at the age of 17, he decided to become a guitar maker and taught himself the craft. In Spain, he is a master craftsman who is highly regarded along with Manuel Reyes, but in Japan, his brand is known only to experts. What a shame for the people who feel his guitars are so wonderful. In fact, many great players own his guitars and praise them for their tone and ease of playing. In addition, the wonderful appearance and beauty of the design are always mentioned when talking about this brand. Today, with his two sons Juan and Jose, he continues to produce new works in his workshop in Seville.
His guitars are used by Pedro Peña, Nino De Pura, Quique Paredes, Manuel Molina, Rafael Riqueni, Manolo Franco and many other flamenco guitarists.
[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the new Francisco Barba 2022. First of all, the overall exquisite workmanship is excellent, and even the interior finishes have been done with great care, each contributing to the overall sense of unity.
The sound is also of excellent quality, with a strong flamenco expression, sustain and separation, and volume dynamism. The Spanish taste is dense. This is a work that demonstrates the skill of one of the best contemporary makers of the flamenco guitar brand.
