[Description]
A Katsumi Arai 1977 model is now in stock. The soundboard is made of cedar, and the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. The back and sides are probably still in the original paint, while the soundboard has been repainted with a thin layer of lacquer. The soundboard has a bump from the bridge to the bottom and some minor distortion, but it is not cracked and does not require any repairs. The construction is similar to that of the Hernandez y Aguado, with a string length of 660 mm.
