Born in Tokyo in 1932. The second son of Sakazo Nakade (1906-1993), the leader of Japan Vintage. Under the training of his father, he started making violins and guitars at the age of 16, and five years later he became devoted to making guitars. After that, in 1968, he moved to Spain and entered the workshop of Madrid maker Hernandez y Aguado. The influence of his two master craftsmen became decisive for him and clearly directed his own subsequent production philosophy. It is clearly shown in the decoration, structure, and timbral characteristics, and the guitar with his unique personality has gained popularity due to its powerful sound and rich expression.
His guitar, which is a representative of Japanese brands with a Spanish atmosphere, has become a popular item overseas as well as his father Sakazo.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a high-end Master120 model made by Toshihiko Nakade in 2003. It is one of the top models of this brand, along with the 'Aguado' model, a copy of Hernandez y Aguado. He has achieved a Spanish sound at a high level, and his ability as a maker is still rare among domestic makers.
This high-end model has a calm sound with moderate rigidity. The sound has a luster and a variety of changes in expression that seem to accompany the player. The acoustics, which give a sense of deep musicality within the modest sound, is indeed a work that makes one feel the pride of the best brand in Japan. The back and sides are painted in cashew, and the sound board is finished in shellac. The head plate and rosette design is reminiscent of Aguado, and the overall appearance is dignified and graceful.
