[Description]
The Masaru Kohno Model No.30, 1974, with a 660mm scale length, is currently in stock. In 1974, it was positioned as a high-spec model in the lineup. This guitar offers a well-balanced overall sound with a stable tone that is not overly reliant on touch. Its excellent responsiveness and other acoustic features provide a stress-free playing experience. Despite the relatively low to moderate string tension, the tone maintains a strong core, while the treble remains clear and well-supported by a firm bass. The signature sound of Kohno is already evident in this model, making it easy to play for musicians of all levels.
The soundboard shows signs of wear typical for an instrument of its age, with a few scratches, dings, and dents, particularly around the bottom center and treble side. The back has a 30cm crack along the center grain, which has been glued but not internally patched. The sides feature a ding repair on the bass side and some minor repairs and dings on the treble side. Additionally, the body’s finish has slightly discolored over time.
