[Profile]
The “Miguel Santos” guitar series is produced in the workshop of Amalio Burguet (1951-) in Valencia, Spain. Amalio Burguet was born in Cataloja, Valencia, and from a very young age, he trained at several workshops in his hometown of Valencia, as well as in Granada and Malaga. He built his first guitar in 1966 at the age of 15.
He has been making guitars vigorously ever since, and his brand style—advocating all-handmade guitars, reasonable prices, and a very Spanish sound—has made him highly popular. Currently, his son Damian and daughter Vanessa have joined the family business as craftsmen and help run the operation.
[Description]
The Miguel Santos FA-20 from 2002 is now in stock. The Valencia region of Spain has become a major classical guitar production area, home to excellent workshops (such as Alhambra, Esteve, etc.), with each brand producing high-quality instruments with distinctive personalities that are shipped worldwide.
Although the FA-20 is a beginner model, it is handcrafted and, like other brands, advocates a traditional Spanish sound. Amalio Burguet has also gained popularity for his commitment to meticulous craftsmanship. The FA-20 is a series of guitars made for export outside Japan and serves as an ideal entry-level guitar.
It features the bright and lustrous tone, rich volume, and excellent responsiveness typical of Spanish-made guitars, along with stress-free playing comfort. This guitar is suitable for all genres of music, including jazz, bossa nova, and popular music, in addition to classical music. It is recommended for those who want to try playing a nylon-string guitar casually.
The guitar is in clean condition with only a few minor dings. There are no cracks or major repair history.
