[Profile]
He is a maker from Valladolid, Spain. He was originally a professional cajón player and a highly skilled woodworker who also made his own cajons, but one day he was asked to repair guitars, and this was the turning point for him. He has been steadily producing less than 20 pieces per year, using only slow, naturally dried materials. In addition to his main flamenco models, he also produces classical models. In addition to the Juan El Flaco, the current lineup includes four other models: Semilla, Rosas, Romi, and Juncal.
[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Antonio Pisa's 'Juan El Flaco' flamenco blanca, No. 114, made in 2021, with a tuning machine equipped with geared wooden pegs (Pegheds) and colored in bright red for a truly flamenco appearance. The sound is also of good quality, with a full sounding body, rigid sound production, propulsive force, and variety of expression.
There is a repair mark on the underside of the sound board where a scratch from the first string has been filled in. There are some other minor playing scratches, but there is no history of cracks or other repairs. The name of this model is the same as that of Juan el Flaco, a French flamenco guitarist born in 1978, but it is unknown if this is a so-called signature model or not.
